It’s easy to lack confidence after the long winter hibernation months. Although the warmer months calls for lighter outfits like dresses and skirts that shouldn’t stop you from feeling great about yourself but there are small changes you can make to help you feel even more amazing.
Here are a few ways to help you look and feel your best this summer:

With the hot weather approaching, it’s more important than ever to stay hydrated throughout the day. Make drinking water fun by infusing it with different fruits like lemon and limes.
- From Left to Right: YVES SAINT LAURENT Top Secrets All-In-One BB Cream Skintone Corrector, $60; IT COSMETICS Your Skin But Better CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder with SPF 50+, $45; ORIGINS Plantscription™ SPF 25 Power Anti-Aging Oil-Free Cream, $76
Even on those days where the sun isn’t shining, the sun’s glare still affects your skin…even under those clouds. Make sure to put on SPF every day or buy makeup products with SPF already in them.

There’s usually a larger variety of fruits available at your local grocery stores during the spring and summer months. Take advantage of berry season and eat up those raw fruits and veggies.
Not only does the warmer weather allow you to engage in outdoors activities but also, you can work up a sweat faster during the spring and summer. Take part in fun outdoor activities like biking, running, hiking or kayaking. They’re fun ways to be active, burn calories and get your body pumping.
The warm weather brings about different opportunities for relaxation. Try reading a book outdoors, swinging on a hammock or even having a picnic by a lake to help you relax your mind.
It’s true when they say that beauty starts within. When you take care of your health and body, everything else falls into place…including your confidence. Don’t let swimsuit season stop you from feeling your best.
Love,
