The highly anticipated Toronto Fashion Week has come to an end and as always, the show wrapped up as strong as it began. There was a lot of Canadian talent showcased at TFW this year however, there is one designer’s collection that we absolutely loved and must bring into the spotlight.
The collection in the spotlight for this year’s TFW is Hilary MacMillan, a Canadian fashion brand founded in 2013. The brand designs fashion-forward women’s apparel that strives for selling their pieces at reasonable price points. Since 2016, the brand is focused on being cruelty-conscious in order to stand up for animal rights.
Hilary MacMillan’s collection hit the runway strong, giving off extremely cool vibes… and we mean cool literally. The collection features perfectly fitted pieces of cool tones of blue, red and green.
Patterned and satin textured pieces also hit the runway. One of our favourite’s is this patterned two-piece suit—it’s absolutely fearless.
Hilary MacMillan is definitely a brand to watch and we can’t wait for what they have in store for the fashion world next. Who was your favourite at TFW?
Fashionably fearless,
Alison Gordon Studio
